I remember those wonderful cars!
America put out some great looking cars in the 70's, the Cutlass is one good example.

Great Captures. They don't make cars like that anymore. Cars had design and style. In fact Olds is out of business.
I had the predecessor of that car...a wonderful 1962 Cutlass, white, manual shift on the column with a wonderful red simulated leather interior and bucket seats! I sold it for $50 in 1972 to purchase the worst car ever, a 72 Chevy Vega.
Thats the same color as the one I almost bought as a convertible, but I ended up with a 350 Firebird instead.
Both cool cars.
I bet when this came out in '72 some people said, "Cars these days have no style". Nostalgia is a funny thing. Glad to see you got some good shots and hopefully the bugs left you alone.

I had a Vega. Fill the oil, check the gas.
The Cutless was a very popular car. This one is a beauty.
I had an Olds until they quit making them, so I switched to Pontiac. At one point I had a Grand Prix, as did my wife, as did our son. Our driveway looked like a GM lot. All the cars I enjoyed have gone with the wind. Now it's a Honda CRV. Oh, for the good old(s) days.

My favorite car was a 69 Olds Cutlass 442. Had to give it up for a wagon when the kids arrived.

4 barrel carburetor; 4-speed stick-shift; and dual exhaust = 442
Those were the days!

98% Deet bug spray did the trick.
Very nice capture! Nostalgia inducing.

And 400 cu in v8! Some serious torque. The was no substitute for displacement. Bigger was better.
