Didn't Comey come out with the investigation into Hilary's emails being re-opened at a critical time during the e******n. Over here that was seen as a major blow to the Clinton campaign as before then she was favourite to win. So is Comey a Republican or a Democrat supporter?

Yes he did. The report found that he acted outside of his bounds by doing that and had no authority to do that. Comey is a liar, a leaker and had his own agenda. But there is a lot more that will come out as to how certain people in the upper echelons displayed political bias. Comey is a democrat supporter and donates to them. Hillary was projected to win by a landslide even on e******n day. When Trump was declared the winner, the liberal media was stunned. Rachel Madcow said something like "no, you haven't died and gone to hell, Donald Trump is President"

Comey did come out and reopen the investigation into Hillary's emails late in October 2016 because a laptop from Anthony Weiner was seized by NYPD and SDNY due to his sexting with a minor. Anthony Weiner at the time, was the husband of Hillary confidant, Huma Abedin. This lady had forwarded 347,000 email messages from the illegal Clinton email server to her husband who had stored them on his laptop, along with pictures of his wiener. There was also 375,000 Blackberry messages and another 500,000 files of various kinds from the server; lots of confidential stuff all on an unsecured laptop.

This was discovered in September and the New York FBI team reported this to Andrew (Andy's office) McCabe who was in charge of the Clinton email investigation. There was a conference call between FBI-NY, SDNY and FBI- Washington during which the contents of the laptop were discussed in terms of numbers of emails, Blackberry messages and so on. After the call, McCabe did nothing about it for several weeks, but what he didn't know was that some of the NY FBI agents informed congress that a laptop had been found with 1.6 millions Clinton server email files and others and had been reported to FBI Washington, McCabe.

McCabe finally asked to meet with Comey in late Otober to inform him about the laptop discovery but flew to London to meet with the FBI spy Stefan Halper and let his team inform Comey about the laptop. At this point, the laptop was not in the FBI Washington's possession and had not been examined forensically by the FBI. Comey decided to inform congress that he was reopening the investigation because of that laptop. He testified recently that he felt that Hillary was so far ahead in the polls it would not affect her and he didn't want to have the story come up after the e******n that the FBI had neglected to investigate the laptop; he believed that would diminish president-elect Hillary. (I got a shudder just writing that last sentence.) So they reopened the investigation, got a warrant for the laptop and had 3 people investigate 347,000 emails in 4 days and say there was nothing day and closed the case again. FBI Super Agent Peter Strzok, was one of these 3 agents.

The interesting thing here is that if people really believe that the reopening and subsequent re-closing of the investigation of Hillary's illegal email server caused her to lose (and I'm not one of them, I think Hillary was a horrible candidate on her own,) then if McCabe had not delayed moving on the laptop as he had and had gotten it down in late September instead of late October, that would have been forgotten by e******n time. If you believe that the reopen/reclose was the factor, blame McCabe for the delay, not Comey.

But to make up for that, McCabe had the FBI agents in New York fired.
