We don't have many rolling green hills in Texas especially in the summer. I liked the contrast of the sunny hills against the storm clouds.

C'mon, yes we do. And they're still there in all 4 seasons. Nice picture, too.

My sister in law is from Pennsylvania and she does not hesitate to inform me that Texas doesn't have hills it has bumps. I tell her their hills are just giant manure piles. I love my state and all its diverse landscapes but you have to admit they ain't the hills of Tennessee.😁

The brief area between Dallas and the Ok border has always been among my favorite parts of Texas, even when I was a youngster. Especially the rolling farm land with Highgear and Cornfields.

(and not just because I was born in that area)

I grew up in Dallas but my favorite area is East Texas in the Athens Palistine area where it's just starting to turn into the pine forests. Second is the hill country west of Austin. But there are so many beautiful parts of Texas. Wish I had started this photography obsession years earlier.

Nice capture! As a native Texan, I have to join in on the debate. As my father used to say, Texas does have 4 seasons and I can remember the day they fell on.
