Just finished a workshop sponsored by Tamron at the Great Sand Dunes in Colorado. Wasn't too bad, but not great either. They were to have lenses available for loan, but the lens my friend wanted to try (15-30mm) they didn't have for a Canon mount. Seemed a little strange considering this was a landscape shoot and the 15-30 is a landscape lens.
We did some light painting (one of the instructors did the painting), and my results were less than stellar. Not quite enough painting in the right places to get the look I was after. Had a couple of sunrise/sunset shots that were almost acceptable. The haze from the big Durango fire did not help.
Some images are posted in the photo gallery.
