The +8 is the 8mm attachment (converter) that you add to the Lensbaby lens. It is rather easy to but on but a little hard to take off. I figured it out which took me about thirty minutes and now I have no trouble removing it. I found if you remove the optic (lens) from the camera first then it is easier to remove the the 8mm converter...Thanks for looking and commenting on the photos as I appreciate it a lot......Rich
