I can not get my d7200 to turn the HDR mode on. I have rechecked my settings looked at the manual as well as a third party book. I seldom use RAW and the camera is not set to that. Some where I must have selected and conflicting choice ? Any ideas?

Sometimes the least frustrating thing to do is the "factory reset." You could make a note of any special settings you don't want to forget when starting over.

When I sold my Canon T3i and purchased a Panasonic M4/3 + an Olympus M4/3, I found about five times as many menu choices as I was used to having. They seem to just go on and on with "sub" sets. I do hope I never have to erase them all

Here is one Google result: If bracketing is enabled, HDR will not be available.

Any reason for not posting on your already existing threads on the subject vs making this unintelligible new one?

I never do in camera HDR with Nikon, as the output is a JPEG file, which does me zero good. I shoot 3 images +-2 stops and merge in Lightroom. Often, I only use 2 of the 3 bracketed exposures, depending on how it looks.

In camer HDR is not that good, look into Photomatix (i use and like for 5 years) or another HDR software.
