Covered Bridges

Having grown up in Florida, we didn't have these; however, in Kentucky and Ohio many are being restored or maintained by a bunch of dedicated folk. Thought I would share this one, its just south of the Ohio River and about 10 miles into Kentucky. I hope you enjoy this touch of history as much as I have. Thanks

Very nice. I've lived in Pennsylvania most of my life and there are quite a few covered bridges within a 50 mile radius of my home, and most of them are still in use. I'm a fan of covered bridges.

I live in Oxford, Pa. and we have a tour that consists of 7 covered bridges, all but one is still in use today. Love the shots.

Nice--I hope they all get restored. Unfortunately, here in Indiana we’ve had some problems with vandalism now and then.

I have one about 1 mile from my home... Have photographed it many times. Have never been happy with the results. maybe some day I'll get it !
