Seemingly not able to post a photo to the Gallery

I've tried posting my first photo to the Gallery but am having difficulty. I entered my text, Clicked on Preview to preview it, then selected the photo, checked store original, clicked Add Attachment and waited for it to upload. I didn't see the photo appear so I then clicked on Preview once again and the image did not appear in the Preview. What am I doing wrong? Does the uploaded photo appear or have to appear in the Preview panel before you click on the SEND button?

You do have to wait for the photo to appear before you hit send. Sometimes it seems like it takes forever! As Bill said, file size is important and raw will not post!

If not a size problem,
did it upload and provide you a preview?
Maybe you didn't wait long enough for the preview to load?
Slow internet?

File is only a 7.5mb jpg on a high-speed internet connection. I thought it had finished uploading when the little circling thingie in the page tab stopped swirling and the UHH logo appeared again. I'll try again.

It will display a preview for you when done.
(If you interrupt the upload process (by clicking on anything in that window) before it has completed, it has been canceled.)
The upload is a process that is running on the server side. Your computer just sits there until it is done, then the server process sends you the results of the upload in a preview.

Thanks, y'all. I did have to twiddle my thumbs a bit 'til the photo showed up for the party! I am just impatient, I guess.
