this guy was surfing really really close to the Oceanside Pier...finally caught a wave that took him right through the pier....just before he realized how fast he was going to go through there. The next time I saw him he was much much further away from the pier! Finally got some smarts, I guess.

A lot of people are into extreme sports these days, you usually read or hear about their demise in the news. Can't get any better than dying doing what you love to do. Good shot.
