Something most people forget. Ive been both amateur and professional....there is only one thing that separates the two. The professional gets paid.
I have seen some astounding shots here at the hog. Some to equal those of nat geo photographers. Believe me, if you were at the same place and same time these photogs were, you would get the same awesome shots also. Yes, you have to be at the right place and at the right time, and luck does enter the picture. but, amateurs have just as much knowledge as proof's.
Thank you for sharing that link. I find it funny that in photo #18, the person used a Canon 7D to photograph his grandfather. In his text, he typed it was a Cannon. :-) We have seen and many have commented on this typo in UHH. Cheers.

I think all of us here AIM to be that good. But getting there is another matter. Whenever I take a photo, no matter how good it is relative to other pics I've taken, I always think I could have done better. If I ever get to the point that I think the photo is perfect and can't be improved on, I'll take up another hobby because it's clear that I've given up on this one.
