It most certainly is! It’s a walking path through the cholla, and is on the south side of the park before the Joshua Trees. The north side has thousands of joshua trees, and many, many boulders.

Used to camp there when a child. Will never forget when my younger brother fell into a cholla cactus on his stomach. Those spines are barbed. We camped at Hidden Valley and climbed every rock we could find.

That sounds very painful. It’s a beautiful park, and we’ve camped in Hidden Valley, also. I love riding my motorcycle through the park. The long and somewhat-winding roads make for a great ride.
