Bull Riding-Favorite Sport to Shoot

Been a while since I posted anything. Believe it or not, all of these photos were shot with a 24-70 lens.
In Texas we call it, Dos Amigos Style Rodeo. They fence in around the chutes, and they don't have to have
pick up guys.

Thanks Jay, I was in Round Rock at the Dell last week shooting the UIL State Baseball semis.

Paul these are wonderful especially the first shot. Made me jump, wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Made me jump as well. I don't often shoot a rodeo with a short wide lens. My 300 prime is preferable.

Paul, I love this beautiful set of photos. You have really captured the event's action. I think the last photo is the best one. Action is stopped in midair.

Thanks, I have never captured a bullriding event with a short wide lens before. It was really different from using my 300 from a distance. The fence gives you some security but it's still a 1200 animal trying to wreck you when he charges the fence.
