Excellent image of nature being nature. In my opinion, Utility Company Linemen are untold heroes. They encounter everything that nature throws at them. Here in the mid-west, we have many ice storms that pull down the lines and these fellows go up there day and night to bring our service back.

It should be reported now. Maybe save someone being out there in a storm.

Been on the fence about reporting the vegetation on the pole so phoned the power company. The person taking my call said she filled out a trouble report and would suggest sending someone out today to assess the gravity of the situation. Thanks for the push, Tommy

That is the the power grid connection for the largest Presbyterian church in Fort Worth, covers a full city block.

The only reason I could almost justify not reporting that would be to capture the fire ball when it shorted.

As of this morning nothing has been done; however, someone could have been by to look at it without me seeing them. I went around back where it's located to check on it several hours ago.
