Thank You, at Port Mahon,Delaware there is a run of large rocks along the road next to the Delaware Bay to protect the road way from the high tides. There is a protected turtle nesting area on the other side of the road in the marsh area. Those turtles can climb over the large rocks to get to the nesting area. They are amazing and I always admire how they do all that to survive.

Thank you,You are right about the sex of the osprey, the spots on her chest give it away.I was at Bowers on the same day and sad to see them loading up the horseshoe crabs for bait.

Well, head on down to Slaughter Beach where I teach beach ecology as well as about HSC.
It is a HSC sanctuary and everyone does their best to keep it that way. Last week the Baltimore Aquarium was out doing a study.

I was happy to see this sign at Port Mahon on the 20th of this month.
