We've been treated in my lifetime with elected presidents that can deliver soaring speeches (JFK, Reagan, and though it never did it for me all evidence points to Obama having this sk**l)

Is Trump in that class? Yeah, probably not. I mean let's look at what his background is. He's a businessman, and a successful one at that. If you've ever worked a job in business then you know the drill. Get to the point, be clear, be done. I've lost count how many bullet lists I've done because the folks in the spots above think their time is super valuable. Maybe it is.

So if you are waiting for Trump to hit you with soaring prose, biting rhetoric, and gripping language sk**ls you've probably got a long wait. His speaking style manifests differently. Short, to the point (that he wants to get across), and memorable. Just look at the pet names he comes up with. Little Marco, Lying Ted, Crying Chuck, etc., etc.

What will get him re-elected? Like Bubba said decades ago....."It's the economy, stupid!" That and , at the end of the day, people will see the sharp difference between the Obama admin and their policy of "taking things away" from citizens to Trumps admin "giving them back".

Look no further than the Waters act that Obama implemented.

A puddle has formed on your property. Ducks are in it and it's deep enough for kids to play in

Under Obama - Alphabet agencies galore descend upon your abode and demand you destroy it of be fined!

Under Trump - Nice duck pond!

Here's another example....MS-13...Animals or just misunderstood?

Really, unless we were to have another "Viet Nam" I just don't see him losing.
Perhaps, but not "anyone" will. br br W... (show quote)

I don't know, I always found president Obama's speeches to be upsetting and filled with empty rhetoric, in fact if you were to parse them often he made no sense as his words his exposed his hollow leadership, with the exception of the 2004 speech which I thought remarkable, Reagan.... When I hear his speeches they often bring tears to my eyes... His words were amazingly moving.

On the rare occasion I watched obummer speak it was nauseating and nauseating to watch the liberals hang on every lying word and question nothing simply because of the color of his skin. He had a habit of looking at the audience and addressing them as "Folks" like he was their buddy. He was evil to the core and a liar to boot. Remember the t***sparency he promised? Yea, that never happened. Glad that lying liberal piece of garbage is no longer soiling the White House.

I grew up hearing the Kennedy's. I'm from Massachusetts so that shouldn't come as a surprise. Jack, Bobby, and even Ted were very good to decent speakers. Back then I could hear better.

By the time O came along my hearing was pretty much shot. Maybe everyone's standards have lowered since JFK and Reagan. I don't know. I know I've read a number of O's speeches and I don't get it either. The best of them seem sort of cheesey and some are making me wonder if English was a second language for him. Could be the writers.

I was more interested with what was happening. The Big 3 auto hit the skids. Tons of people losing their jobs. O introduces his "Cash for Clunkers" program and suggests everyone buy a Prius. How can anyone be that dumb or callous? Looking back I was proud that we elected an black man. And if you asked me today, I am glad that McCain lost. But that doesn't mean that today I am happy O won.

And that little space right there is what liberals absolutely don't get.

Well stated. Obummer was able to lead the easily led that do not think for themselves is the conclusion I came to. The color of someones skin is not of interest to me, I want to see what the contender is going to do for Americans and to give Americans a better life. I never understood the free pass the i***t obummer got JUST BECAUSE HE WAS BLACK. A Nobel Peace Prize, give me a friggin break. 90 percent positive media coverage and Trumps is 95 percent negative. Yea, we have a free press don't we? Nothing but a bunch of liars and political hacks. I am also glad McCain lost, but I detested obummer for the liar that he was.

Why would we want to elect another celebrity?
We've had two and they both sucked.

And Frankie reappears after finally extracting his head out of his flabby ass.
