I want that. It won't matter how big the graphics file is.

Just glad I don't have to pay the electricity and cooling bills for this monster.

All powered by solar panels as I understand it. Wonder how long it will take to 'amortize' those panels? 😜

'Such computers are vital not only for science, but for weather forecasting, climate modeling, nuclear weapons development and safety, and complex engineering problems....It can work on AI research, machine learning, and deep learning..."

Lightroom is not specifically on that list. Yet it is. Adobe is using AI and machine learning to develop Lightroom's versions. Lightroom CC (cloud) has the ability of keywords without you making them. Lightroom Classic CC (file based) has a new "auto" button that really works pretty well.

Regarding slow, my Lightroom is not. I'm sorry if yours is.

The question is, slow compared to what? The new ON1 2018.5 is a missile compared to the newest LR..... which I still use as my primary.....but for how long?

By a year or two from now it will be an also ran and they will want another bigger faster one. Then you can get this one for pennies on the dollar at the surplus auction.

Yep but the solar farm required to run a beast like that is pretty large, even bigger if it's got to charge enough batteries to run a bunch of inverters to power that beast. I don't recall any mention of the power budget in the article but it's got to be quite large.

That would be awesome, if you could port Windows to run on the beast.
