Great capture - both of you!!
Strix.
I'll second that Sandy! Great photos!
I don't mind critters or bugs... but seeing images like this, even for the second time, gives me the creeps!!!
But with that said, these are fantastic images, Sandy and something I would never ever have seen!!!! Thank you!!!

What a fascinating set, Sandy! It didn't freak me out at all. But then I grew up in a bug hunting family! Spiders too of course. My favorites are the jumping or wolf spiders.
Sandy, you are brave. I would have seen that spider, screamed like a girl (I am a girl), and ran away. I don't mind most bugs but spiders, especially large ones, give me the willies. Good job on those photos!
c
super set you caught the story of survival of the fittest

It is a cold cruel world and you got pictures to prove it.
All wonderful shots. I'm really glad you posted the series and not just one of a not at all gross, but quite natural and rarely seen occurrence. Well done!

Sometimes I get excited and rush shooting. If I can just settle down and really look, I will pick up things like this. When shooting with a friend or two, somebody is going to find a treasure to share. Glad you liked these gross creepies.
