I was eating dinner on the river when I looked over at a house and it appealed to me so I grabbed an image of it. After looking at it in post, I was not particurly impressed so I tried a little conversion to B&W. Be sure to check out the detail in the Download. This was taken with my D5500 and the Nikon 18-140 zoom lens. Exposure detail: Auto exposure, Aperture-priority AE, 1/1,000 sec, f/8, ISO 400.
PS, if you double-click on the download, you can see a shark in the upstairs window.

Thank you Pat. It was a nice view, and the day was perfect. Not much of a sky though.
Beautiful shot. Just a couple of tech. questions: Did you have to use ISO-400 on such a bright day (based on the sky) and did you subsequently add the 'artistic' graininess in post or is it native to D5500?

No I didn't need ISO 400. I had set that in my settings, and forgot to change it back to 100 where it is now. The graininess came from the post. Thanks for your comment.

Thank you Merry. Did you see the shark in the upstairs window? I didn't see it until after I had posted it.

I really don't know what it is Merry. It could be a blow-up flotation device. I never asked them: "How much is that Sharky in the Window"?

OK, I reexamined the original and tried some "fixing", and this is what I have. I encourage comments.
