“What special day is it tomorrow?”

Without skipping a beat, she said, "It's U.S. Congressman's Day!"

She's smart, so I asked her "What does that mean?"

I was not ready for what she was about to say.

She replied, "U.S. Congressman's Day is when they step out of the Capital Building and see their shadow;
then we have 4 more years of B.S."

Did you know, it hurts when hot coffee spurts out your nose?

All too true. Not only does the truth hurt but hot coffee through the nose is no picnic either. That is a good one.

Myself included, why don't we do what we can to eliminate the permanent residence in all our governments (local and federal)?

I used to think that the voting booth provided term limits, but the ignorant voting public have proved this WRONG! Term Limits to protect the non-thinking masses that only look at the purported "R" or "D" after a candidates name.

You are right. Voting by party does not provide us with the viable government. Both parties have more than their share of public leeches.

Excellent!
I’m glad I finished my coffee before I read it.

I'm looking forward to the outcome of tomorrow's Democratic Primary for Governor of Nevada between Steve Sisolak and Chris 'G' (Giunchigliani). Which one will the Dems think is the biggest liar and sack of s**t? They have been at each other for months. Sisolak has Harry Reid in his corner but I heard Hillary Clinton campaigning for Chris 'G'. Being a registered Independent I don't have a say in what happens.

You mean the 'CapitOl' building; the one with the 'dOme'. The memory crutch is that both contain the letter 'o'.
