I caught this gentleman walking along the Flodden Wall mid-morning a couple days before Christmas. I'm including two versions - one, "traditional" B&W and the other color as I really like the way the Castle is reflecting the sun.

These are nice, Sue--completely different emphasis in the two shots. For me, the b&w is a nice shot of the man walking, as the title indicates. The color version emphasizes the beautiful castle with the great light. Congratulations on both of these shots and on your seeing the reasoning behind posting both of them.

That is really a display of the dramatic difference between color and b&w. Each gives a completely different perspective to the same photo. The b&w a cold, dank atmosphere and the color a warm feeling. You did well Sue. Very nice photo.
