As a matter of fact. The tipple has been under going extensive renovation for about a decade and should be ready for demonstrations in the near future. The railroad will continue to use a bucket loader to load coal in the tenders. That has turned out to be much more efficient than the tipple

That is a pretty wide view!
I spent some time in there a few years ago with one of the friend volunteers.
I'm hoping to find it open during one of the work sessions this summer.
Need to update my images.

What a great shot - I love looking at old rail cars and old rail structures. I can understand why it is easier using a bucket loader than getting the coal into the tipple so it can slid out! Thanks for posting.
