Here they come again, I am starting to get more sightings as the males are hunting more to feed the females who are on egg sitting duty.

Very nice post Alan! Yours are very similar to our American ver. They are such excellent hunters. When I was in college I worked as a lab assistant in the biology dept. and one of my jobs was to feed and care for one very sweet old barn owl....we were good friends! Looking forward to seeing more.

I whish it was that easy, to get these I do a 40mile trip, sometimes I see nothing other times its a brief glance and its not unknown to download my shots to discover that they are all heading for the bin

Hi Phil, pleased you liked them, cant beat a barn owl (unless its perched on a shire horse) and Im in one of the best spots in the country for them
