Just the Dog and Me

My wife had requested a picture of the dog and myself suitable for framing for her desk at work. After many unsuccessful tries to get a photo of the two of us with my plethora of cameras, lenses and additional equipment. I happened to take this selfie with my Samsung Galaxy S7, with us sitting on the tail of my SUV after a walk by the beach. She loved it and after some cropping and some minor adjustments, she now has a framed pic of her two guys, go figure.

Thanks, yea they do. The frustrating part of it was I must have tried a dozen different times to take a shot with my D5100 setup on a tripod using either the timer or a remote trigger. Could never get him to sit still or look at the camera long enough to capture a decent photo. Then one day after as walk at the beach sitting in the back of my truck letting the sea breeze blow over us, bingo a selfie at arms length, not even using a selfie stick, with my cellphone. Did do a little post processing, though.
