Hi, i didnt see any Red Knots there, maybe because the water and shore line is so close.I saw the watermen picking up the horseshoe crabs and maybe they didnt get to lay the eggs that the Red Knots eat. They did have a run at the Dupont Nature Center at the Misipilian Light near Milford,Delaware.

We saw red knots at the Dupont Nature Center but oddly not at varoius Slaughter Beach locations or stops north to Port Mahon. Seemed alittle strange.

I think due to the fact that they capture the horseshoe crabs for bait in the eel pots and conck pots there has been a demize in the amount of eggs laid. They have put a limit of 100,000 crabs a year for the watermen but I think it has come to late to help.
