Good afternoon fellow Hogs! Tried to find my answer, but was unable to get one. Here are the questions...

I have many photos on Google Photos that I have backed up and synched from my desktop PC. Not sure what happened, but I had to uninstall/reinstall backup & synch. It appears that it is now backing up everything on my PC hard drive. If the files being backed up are duplicates of what I already have on Google photos, are they being over written or skipped?

I'm also getting a message "Can't synch X items." Is that because those files already exist and they are being skipped?

Unfortunately, I can't provide insight into your issues. I will say though that the software caused an issue, for whatever reason, my system became paralyzed while the program was executing "in the background."
