It (I've never understood why people attach pronouns to mechanical entities) came through again yesterday. This time I had my neighbours Canon 6DmkII fitted with my Canon 400mm f5.6 'L' series lens. There's a lot to learn with the 6D and I've only scratched the surface.
The engine is a little soft but this is, I feel, mainly due to wrong auto-focus selection. Spot or tighter focusing would have been better suited but I didn't have time to learn how to change it.
But it is much sharper than my previous effort (on my 60D) and it looks a lot livelier with a decent head of steam as it approaches Saunderton bank.
Conditions were again slightly hazy but I'm happy with this, however I'll still be looking to improve on it.

For those familiar with the area (and those that just want to know) this was shot from West Wycombe hill (by the Dashwood Mausoleum) looking down onto the line out of High Wycombe (51.647154,-0.803968).
Camera settings - F8; 1/400; ISO160
