Most of my stuff is from Magnolia, especially since Tweeter failed. They are building a bunch of new houses around here and one of the selling points is a home theatre option. I see the Magnolia trucks up here frequently. You can bet the buyers are paying big time for that.

What happened to the original concept of my topic? Do you use 4K from your camera, editing software, etc so you can see your own work on a screen that is the highest resolution we consumers can get?

If you have a digital camera that captures more than 8mp, do you like what it looks like on a 4K (which is 8mp) TV?

Hey this is UHH. Its not only our right, but our obligation to hijack the OP's original thread.

By the time we're done discussing this topic, 8K will be released.

I’ve viewed photos and videos on my 4K TV and they do look great, but for editing I use a dedicated monitor. I will say that for basic work you could use a 4K TV I just personally wouldn’t trust it for professional work.

The editing monitor that I use is the ASUS PA329Q 32" 16:9 4K/UHD IPS Monitor. I love it, but I think for the money there are cheaper monitors now that can give you just as good performance.
