I have been lurking for a month or so. Lots of very interesting information here. Sixty years and counting...I learned the basics in the U.S. Navy beginning in 1958. Cameras in approximate order were a Brownie 620 (1949?), 35mm Sekonic (boot camp gift), Yashica 44 twin lens reflex, 35mm Miranda, Rolleiflex 2.8E2 (I still have it), Hasselblad 500C, 35mm Nikon SP rangefinder, 35mm Nikon F2 1.4 (I still have it), Hasselblad 500CM then to digital with a Canon 10D and working my way gradually up to my current system Canon 5D's mk4, Canon 6D...and lots of really nice Canon glass. Phew...where did all of the money go. I am still very active with my camera's as a USS Midway Museum volunteer photographer and with several charity organizations. If my signature shows up below you can view some of my favorite pictures, through the years, on the Google Photos link. I am looking forward to learning more here on this forum. Thanks for having me!

Welcome from another Canon shooter. Is that a Speedgraphic you were using?

That picture was taken in 1958 and those were old 4X5 Anniversary Speed Graphics handed down from the fleet that we trained with.
