Adding to the Streamliners event in Salisbury-part 1

a post was made earlier about the "Streamliners at Spencer" event. The only way to describe it was that it was EPIC. In this day and age(2014), it was incredible to see this many "covered wagons" in one place. The event was 4 days and 3 nights-could have been longer in my estimation-but was a total immersion in days gone by. Here's a few of my pix:

Thrilling shots from history. I especially enjoyed seeing the Lackawana units at Barbour Junction, the golden hour turntable pose and the Nickle Plate Alco unit. Thank you for sharing these. /Ralph

Thanks for sharing these beautiful locos. All the pictures are great. It looks like a railfan's dream event.

IT WAS A DREAM EVENT!!! I was happy that I attended every day(4) and night(3), and then stayed for the next day when most of the engines where shipped out.
