Great series on this beautiful park. Yup, you were fortunate to have wonderful light and scattered clouds. However, you did the work in composing a lovely series of shots.
Were you using manual mode/aperture? Trying to figure all this out.

Yes, I use manual mode. I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. I usually go with f8 - f11 and shutter just depends on the light. I also tend to underexpose as you can get more detail out in post.
Also, I always shoot in RAW. Hope this helps!
