A few images from the new activity in the gardens. Unfortunately a lot of dark cloudy days and rain, but I still try to get what I can when I see it. All were taken with 200mm/f4 Nikon macro lens and D850.

Your spider is such a cutie! I also love the last image for the soft light, uncluttered matching background and your composition. Understated elegance.

Thank you very much Linda, a friend of ours saw the spider photo and said it was the only spider cute enough not to smash! I explained she just had not met enough of them

I’m so glad I took the time to download each of these. The detail is delightful and your use of DOF is amazing. The tulips thumbnail looks really dull but when I opened the file, wow!

Ah ha, and I did NOT open that one, lol.

To the OP: be sure to save in sRGB color space so this won't happen.

Linda all these images were exported from Lightroom in sRGB clor space, is there another place your referring to where I should be doing this? Thanks.....Glenn

Your spider shows sRGB in my little exif reader but the tulips pic says color space "uncalibrated," so maybe you did something a little differently. You could export again and attach to this thread, if you're curious.

Linda here is the same image exported as sRGB, not sure what I did differently from the first time but it looks correct now I believe. Thank you for pointing that out.

You're very welcome. The issue comes up at least once a week on UHH, and if were me, I'd want the thumbnail to look as close as possible to the reality
