It is so much easier shooting butterflies and dragonflies this year using my new equipment as opposed to last year. What a step up.
Great picture, but what is your "equipment"? Thanks
I never find they light enough to get a picture
I am using the D3400 with Sigma 150-600mm lense at 600mm and focused down to 9.2ft. the minimum focusing distance. I can't believe the detail it gives. Before I was using my Samsung Note 8 which is great for macro but can't do what this combo can do. I am thinking about moving to the D5600 just for the more focusing points.
Thanks for asking Jim.
What do you notice with the camera that's making a difference for you to get better shots than with your last one?
The telephoto lense has expanded my photography into other areas to where I would never have been able to reach before, especially in the wildlife world. Before I was basically stuck in the macro world but with all the different lenses you have so much more options for shooting. I hope what I am saying in understandable.
Thanks for asking Jim.
Good shot of an elusive subject.
The DDL is fantastic! Wonderful detail. 👍👍👍
Good shot! Keep chasing them; we'd love to see more!
Thank you Mike. The DDl Referring to the dragonfly. I believe it is a Damsel.
Great shot. Even the foliage looks good.
