Normally, I have to go out on my boat to see seals. Today, I was driving down the road, going to my house and looked out over the harbor. This thing was snoozing on a rock about 12 ft from shore. The Herring (also other species) have been schooling up lately. I think it gorged itself and found the nearest rock to sleep it off. Hope you enjoy. Gary

Love the trio especially the middle one. What is that coating on him that is kind of gray or did you put it there?

Thanks Jim.

Thank you very much Jim. That is how seals look when they dry off in the sun. The entire body will look like face, unless a wave comes in and swamps him. They are actually covered in fur. Gary

Ahhhh, very good I have learned something new today. I have seen an unbelievable amount of educational shows on all types of wildlife including that fellow and that was never mentioned. I thank you very much for sharing what you know with me.

Thank you very much. I told my neighbor it looked fat and happy. Probably full of fish and sleeping it off. Gary

Thank you very much MT. I went back today and it was hamming it up again for me on a rock about 100ft away. Gary
