Vandals had released the brakes on these and they rolled down the slight grade to this pile. We saw it happening and it looked like we were watching a sausage machine

There is another track, that doesn’t show in the picture, which is one of the legs of a wye. The cars had been parked about a ½ mile away and I think that the first car derailed at the switch.
