I'm thinking of getting a set of extension tubes for doing macro work. I see Canon and Kenko has them, now there is no glass involved (from what I see - I'm new) so what makes one better than the other? Canon sells them separately and Kenko sells them as a set. part 2 of my question, how will it work with my Tamron 60mm macro lens? I'm using a Canon T1i camera. thank you!
I posted the same question a while back. I'm buying the Kenko set next pay day. Canon is way over priced for extension tubes. I shoot with the T2i and yes they will work with your lens.

A set of Kenko Auto-Extension tubes will work perfectly for you.

I took Nikonian's advice on buying Kenco auto tubes for my Nikon D200 and they should arrive by UPS in the next day or so............. Will advise, but I have NO doubts that they will work just fine and I saved a bundle over buying the Nikon branded tubes.

I use the Kenko ones as well.
