ok, for all you photophiles that want the stats:
iPhone5s
ISO 1250
1/15 sec.
(surely you don't really care)
I've always been the one in the crowd to say "if you can make a call on it, then it ain't a camera".
But I've also been known to say "the camera you have with you at the time, is the best camera for the shot."
I think that even a technically average photo can still tell a great story, and so that is what I am offering here. Use your imagination to fill in the before and after and I guarantee you will enjoy yourself. Was a great evening and I freely give you a small piece of it.
If you've been there, lemmie know.
Enjoy...
I was there YEARS ago. Loved it.
Thanks for the post Longshadow, I was going to take it down if nobody responded. Glad you did.
I remember attending a concert by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. That was a memorable evening.

I've been there. Loved Preservation hall. really miss the days of Papa Celestine, Fats Pichon, Sharkey, Al Hirt, and all the others from days gone by. New Orleans is the kinda city where you wake up in the morning, look out of your hotel window, and know exactly where you are. Only a few of these towns are left. The only ones that come to mind right now are San Francisco and Quebec in our hemisphere, not to mention most of the major cities of Europe.
Is this "full frame" or cropped? As a trombonist, it bothers me that part of the slide is cut off. I also use whatever I have with me, and sometimes only have my cell. I have an LG, I am Apple-adverse for many philosophical reasons, and find that sometimes it just doesn't want to take a photo as imaged on the screen. I then shoot what it allows and hope for the best.
Sorry toxdoc but I don’t recall what was in the original dreamer. But since the format is square, it obviously is cropped.
Any lower and all you would see is the back of heads of folks sitting on floor.
