Ambien is a product name for Zolpidem, which can be read about on Wikipedia. It is not recommended for insomnia treatment beyond 6 weeks. It has a variety of side effects that can be read about. A 2012 study indicated that its effectiveness was as much psychological as pharmaceutical. Barr's Ambien moments would not be unexpected.

I watch her often but am unaware of the incident you refer to, so I can't speak to it. I haven't refused to do anything. That she would say something out of line surprises me.

My ex took that s**t once upon a time for far too long. One time at about 3am she got up, drove six blocks to a friend's house, took a dump in their kitchen sink, left a note saying "Sorry, I couldn't wait for the bathroom", drove home and went back to bed. Didn't remember a thing.
