This is a picture of a pretty purple flower that was growing at the resort. Please let me know if you can identify it for me so that I can add it to my collection. Thanks for your help and for viewing and comments.

We really need to see more of the actual plant to see how it grows. Is it a vine, a shrubby bush, or a small plantlet? Too many factors to make identification.

The leaves are wrong for a Morning Glory.Looks more like a Mountain Laurel but that's a wild guess.

Thanks for all the responses! I think 'dancers' on the right track for I was in Mexico when I took the photo. It was a "plant" with somewhat long slender leaves.

I believe it to be the Mexican petunia as stated earlier. This is a screenshot of those plants.
