or wingless wasp (thats what it really is) i have read if you ever get stung by one of these you will never forget it. its hard to get good pic since they never stop.tom

i found this and decided to add it.The Velvet Ant is also known as the cow killer because they can sting a cows throat if accidentally eaten. The throat will swell shut and cow will die.
