Outside by the shed

The man who owns this property and let's us shoot there on a regular basis asked if he could have a couple of prints to hang up in his man cave. I'm getting ready to order them soon, they'll be 8 x 12. He wants it to be clear to his poker and drinking buddies that the images were taken at his place, so it's important to have a landmark in them. I was thinking of these two, sort of bookends, taken by his shed.

Very nice bookends. If you really want to make his day (and allow him to impress his buddies) maybe shoot a straight on and offer him (clothed of course) to be in the photo with the model for the center of the bookends. You will have use of the property forever!

Here are the other two candidates taken in his water stove shed. He's a big advocate of these things and stoves manufactured by this company in particular, enough that I've teased him about being a paid representative for the firm. The rest of the shots on his property have been very generic except for the images with his tractor. I've shown you guys one of those in a previous thread and I have an entire set taken with it. Those are also a possibility. I think the red shed photos are better photographically and certainly less busy, but these probably have a more obvious connection to his homestead since he's taken everyone and his uncle out to look at this thing. They also are racier, so there's that. I would ask him which pair he wants but I really want them to be a surprise.

In a man-cave they probably won’t even notice the shed!
You should print a target on them. They will probably just use them for sticky target practice!!! Just kidding!

He and his buddies are all in their 60s and I think he's the only divorced one of the bunch. His place is where they all congregate to get away from it all. We shoot when he's at work, which allows us to avoid "the gang". He's seen select photos over the years but he's pretty technology averse. He doesn't have a good computer or a smart phone and certainly doesn't have a color printer. He actually has a restored metal lathe in his living room. Poker with his friends, smoking cigars on the porch, and playing 45's on an old jukebox are is escapes. His "man cave" still features a tube console television and a VCR.
