Here are a few shots I got of the Unima Choir from Indonesian.
I shot them in for locations, but this location was the best as I was able to get closer.
Something tell me there were some good voices there..... Very good B/W's ....

There were some awesome voices there, with the guy with half of his head missing being one of the best.
Thank you.
More shots....
Most of these are from their last day with us. We were in a house that was too full of people. It was hot and crowded--nowhere to move.
It was a high-energy performance and so I did my best the capture it. They were so close together that it was impossible to seperate them while zooming on on different performers--but I like the results.
Many of the shots needed to be straightened, and I did straighten most of them. After awhile I decided to leave them alone, flaws and all.
There is one shot in this series that I did spend a little extra time with.....
Those are ALL great shots... Good job on the B/W ......
Two nice sets.
Not too sure what you wanted to convey by chopping off the guys upper face in set one?
No.3 in set two needs a bit of attention. No wonder the guy is smiling, seeing a hand in close proximity to his *****

Now that you think of it, neither do I. Actually, I had this idea where he would be in focus, but the other two singers would actually be the focus(though out of focus). Digital film is cheap so you can try these ideas. If they work, then great. If not....

Yeah.....
I didn't notice that until after I posted it. A constant failing of mine.
