Image Previews in Windows Explorer

I shoot a 5D Mk IV and my wife a 7D Mk II.
When we get back from a trip, I copy all the images (.CR2 RAW) from SD cards onto my system SSD using Windows Explorer.
I see image previews of my wife's pictures, but not mine.
No idea why this is (Lightroom works fine with both). Could it be the filesizes? the 5D is 30-60MB, the 7D are 20-33MB.
Any help welcomed!

As of May 1, 2018 the Windows Photo viewer and thumbnail codec have not been enhanced for the 5DIV raw files. Use the feedback button in Win10 to mention it. Then, others with the 5DIV can use search in the MS Feedback Hub for 5DIV and you can upvote the customer need for an updated codec. Microsoft seems have been busy on other priorities.
