Suggestion: Increase the shutter speed to at least 1/1250. Your pictures will come out much sharper.

Thanks for the tip. I was using a rented lens and this was my first day with it, so I used auto. Later in the trip, I became more confident with the lens.

They dive so much that eventually blindness is one of their disabilities.

Thanks for looking vz. At Hilton Head a few blind pelicans sit on the docks and fishermen share the remains from fish cleaning with them.

Very good captures Mike, I have shot them doing the dive and it is very very fast!!!
