first one ok, the second one looks blurry to me.
This is a wonderful idea of a before and after shoot. however, the first one is very soft focus and the second the background leaves are in better focus then the the tulip.
My suggestion would be: if you didn't use a tripod, use one. All thing considered focus was your main problem.

My suggestion is to NOT shoot on auto, so he/she can use single point focus to get it right!!!

Completely out of focus and images in the wrong section. A tripod? LOL.... I don't what's worse here in this site, the images or the absurd "advises" here.
Thank you for posting and while you didn’t ask for it, some members gave honest critique of your photo. A lot of the time, you’ll just get “nice photo” when often the photos could be improved. If you want honest, constructive Critique of your photos, there is a sub forum for that.
