The nicely defused light this morning from a thin cloud cover is always good for a photo or two. Even this 8Mp ten year old camera seemed to work fairly well. Quickly grabbed it and took the shot while putting the other equipment away after watching the usual flock of bluejays pick up their allotted offering of pecan halves.
This little guy was standing around outside the periphery of the flock gorging themselves and when they left moved up to get the last morsels (noticed he's going for the largest of the two).
Also noticed, when viewing the morning's collection on this laptop, he's somewhat handicapped having only one leg. However he seems to have adapted well - please notice his foot has been turned about 85 degrees clockwise to help balance himself side to side.
His flying is no slouch though, he blasted into the air same as all the others after getting their share of the groceries.
