The most obvious question in the world...

If Trump is totally free from all collusion from foreign governments, if he has be on the up and up, why does he seem to be so resistant to investigation? I would think that any innocent man would say, "Bring it on" so my country and the rest of the world would know the "t***h".

I just don't understand this.

I see so many in here say that there is no collusion, the president says so, yet there seem to be a lot of ppl surrounding Trump who hang out with foreign nationals. Very perplexing.

Problem is that very clever, attorneys are very good at perjury traps, and gaining guilty information from perfectly innocent people. Especailly some one who is not a life long politician. Plus Trump likes the sound of his own voice, and tends to speak when he should shut up. Plenty of good, innocent people are in jail as a result of perjury traps. Would you like to be investigated by government officials whose reputations would be ruined if they found no evidence of any wrong doing on your part.?

Bob, Trump lies continuously. I would have NO trouble being investigated, most ppl wouldn't. NOBODY makes you lie. There is no such thing as a "perjury trap." I'm guessing Mueller has enough info on Trump from multiple sources that he really doesn't need to question Trump but is doing so because otherwise Trump would be whining about how he never had the opportunity to defend himself.

president clinton was guilty of a perjury trap, for which he was impeached. If he had said" I did not have sexual intercourse with that woman" NO IMPEACHMENT. but he used a sinonym in stead is said. I DID NOT HAVE SEX with that woman, And he was impeached. PERJURY TRAP. get it now

It sounds like procedures and not guilt are what matters. Nothing new. I think that our government leaders should be held to a higher standard.

Not a perjury trap, wh**ever he said, he would have been lying. "Perjury traps" are a conservative conspiracy theory concerning a compulsive liar...Donald Trump. Stop listening to Fox and start thinking for yourself.

I do too, Dave. Trump is setting a horrible precedent. I don't see why it's so hard to understand but apparently Trumpers are having problems.

"Perjury Trap" is a gift to comedians everywhere. Even mimes make good use of the trap.

Actually he is just continuing what has been going on all around us for years by many. He is just so arrogant that he really doesn't care whether his behavior is acceptable. The fact that he is a blatant liar is not news and many accept that as the norm.

If these clowns don't think that they should be held to a higher standard, I would support them. I would first want their retirement and health costs to be on par with the "working class." Then we can discuss their accountability to the public they supposedly represent.

Having a bad day....lol!

You are most certainlycorrect, but if all politicians were held to that hgher standard., most would not be in congress now.
