You're coming along at breakneck speed, Rich. All beautiful, and I especially like the first sunny yellow.

My kind of shots... up close and personal!!
You did great with the macro lens attached, Rich!! Loving the buttery yellow on the first and the gorgeous bokeh and image on #3!!
I told you, you'd love them... can't wait for more!!

...my only tip would be to try not to shoot with a bright sun.

Thank you very much. I will be posting five more tonight from this series. I thought they were pretty good for only my third try with this lens....Rich

Thank you very much. I'm getting there. I'll post the last five in this series tonight. I feel pretty good about these for only my third try with this lens and second with the macro. Is the tip you gave me because of a little loss of detail or is it for another reason? Your help is always appreciated as I do love these Lensbaby lenses and I want to get better with them....Rich

I just find when shooting in bright light, you lose the rich colors and some details, so I either wait or try to block the sun with my body while shooting... I also turn the exposure compensation down to the negative -1 side, that helps a lot!!!
....but otherwise you are right on point!

My cameras are all set for a -1. I tried to shoot some photos in the shade but they seemed a little flat to me but I'm going to try some more and see what happens. Of course my eyes are a little on the older side. LOL....Rich

Then if you are in the shade, set the EC to +1, I depend a lot on those adjustments.
