I tried to maintain a context, but thinking again, the grass doesn't add to the photo. Better get rid of that.
The other aspect is the empty space. Placing the twins in the center of the picture does really improve the composition? On the other side, the empty space is... empty. There's nothing to balance the boys in the picture.

I think this is a spectacular shot from a compositional standpoint it is outstanding. This photo could go in a lot of directions including B&W, Sepia, HDR, lots of possiblities. Well done!
