The lavender Iris plant had three blooms one above the other so from a distance it looked like one tall thin flower - well today with a heavy dry wind the oldest one (on the bottom) died back and shriveled up.
The two remaining ones up on the tip of a long stem still look like one bloom from a distance. Sort of an Iris tower.
5DIV with Tamron 180 macro from about 10 feet away. Cropped, background cloned out on both sides - parts of two other reddish purple blooms just showing at the bottom below the shriveled flower. The little red ball shaped objects are unopened milkweed flowers on a plant in the background.
