Took a ride down the Jersey Shore today and took some photos of Long Branch, NJ. I even saw the moon over the ocean in bright sunlight. I used a Tamron 18-400 and 10-24 wide angle lens on my Nikon D5300.
I'll bet that beach and boardwalk will be a lot more crowded come July and August.

Shots 1,3 & 4 came out very well. For me, it's a walk down memory lane. My thoughts on achieving good daylight shots of the moon; are much better done with 1: > 400mm and 2: manual focus at infinity. Shot two - man, I could just see me at 17 (1971) lying on the beach turning a nice pink!
Thanks for some really nice shots!
Thank you, glad that you enjoyed! That moon shot was very difficult as it was so bright and sunny and the moon was high in the sky, I couldn't get the ocean even close to the shot. Thanks for the tip on getting a better shot of the daytime moon.
Spent all my summers as a kid in Long Branch back in the day. Glorious memories.
